From Canada, SOMNBA combines House & Techno, playing with skills developed over a decade on traditional vinyl turntables & a lust for the history of underground sounds, blended together to create sets that are a powerful journey for all in the audiences.

SOMNBA rose onto the scene in 2020 with an effervescent production ablum debut (The Contraband EP) combining old-school rave sounds with modern production techniques to create underground rave and festival-driven music.

 

Playing under the earlier moniker Steve French (2003 - 2018), the culmination into

SOMNBA has brought a personal passion to his DJ sets and music productions.

Brilliant on the synths & smashing with the bass 'The Contraband EP' dropped the contemporary EDM form & refused to overcomplicate the ecclectic mix of House, Techno, & Breakbeats.
